Arra Alexander

Arra is an exceptional individual deeply committed to civic engagement and community leadership in Colorado Springs, which she proudly calls her forever home.

Her professional journey began in commercial real estate, where she successfully led her own division in Amarillo, Texas for 9 years. Recognized as the Texas Woman to Watch by the Texas Business Women organization and named one of Amarillo’s Top 20 professionals under 40 by the Chamber of Commerce, Arra has consistently demonstrated outstanding drive and dedication in her career.

In 2023, Arra attended Harvard University, where she earned an advanced negotiation skills certification, further enhancing her expertise in business leadership.

Beyond her professional achievements, Arra is a passionate advocate for Alzheimer’s research, inspired by her grandparents’ battle with the disease. She excelled as the top fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association of Amarillo, notably raising over $14,000 in 2015 alone and earning recognition in their Hall of Fame.

Arra’s commitment to community extends to her role as a military key spouse, supporting over 800 instructors, family members, and dependents at the Academy. Her leadership as President of the Academy Spouses Club is marked by managing a diverse team and overseeing operations at the base thrift shop. Under her guidance, the club awarded $17,000 in scholarships and streamlined operations to better serve military families and retirees.

Arra’s leadership and dedication exemplify her passion for making a positive impact, both professionally and within the community she serves.
